We cover all waste streams, from municipal and commercial through to agricultural, sewage and hazardous. We are also well known for our work on EfW projects and are highly experienced in producing the full range of legal documents to support these deals – our expertise spans a range of technologies including advanced conversion technology (gasification and pyrolysis), incineration, AD and biomass energy schemes. We are therefore well versed in the challenges and complexities that arise from differing waste streams and treatment technologies, allowing us to give tailored and practical advice.
Our work includes: buying, selling and advising on operational issues associated with waste sites; the management, treatment, disposal, storage and transportation of waste; the sale and purchase of waste and its derivatives; licencing and permitting matters; and defending criminal prosecutions relating to waste.
Our clients range from new entrants to the waste industry to established waste companies, funders / investors and local authorities.
Our team is also experienced in advising on PPP and PFI initiatives and has worked with procuring authorities, sponsors, investors and lenders on some of the most significant infrastructure projects in the UK.
