Decarbonising Transport

We help organisations discharge their EVCP and car club-related planning obligations, as well as assisting more altruistic and environmentally-minded companies / developers to improve the environment and lives of the public, their tenants and employees through taking advantage of the financial and carbon efficiency savings sustainable transport brings.

We advise on the commercial arrangements relating to the funding and installation of low-carbon and net zero infrastructure that enables the decarbonisation of the transport sector, including advising on:

• the installation of charging points and alternative fuel refuelling infrastructure;
• the generation and supply of electricity and alternative fuels;
• the procurement of new plant, vehicles and haulage services; and
• all administrative requirements such as highways licences, traffic management orders and planning permissions.

In addition, we support on the regulatory aspects of transport decarbonisation, including advising renewable fuel producers on the requirements of the Renewable Fuel Transport Order, and advising on the environmental and health & safety risks associated with the storage and use of fuels (both fossil and alternative).
