The Building Safety Act 2022 received Royal Assent in April 2022. The Act introduces sweeping changes to the development process and places additional obligations on those responsible for high rise residential properties all with the aim of improving health and safety. The Act also extends liabilities and limitation periods and introduces new avenues for claims.
