Zoe McGovern



Zoe is a Paralegal in the Property Litigation Department.

Zoe assists the Property Litigation Department with a range of contentious matters. This includes advising councils with housing disrepair matters, possession matters, injunctions and debt claims.

Zoe also assists on a range of private client matters including but not limited to cohabitation disputes, boundary disputes, removal of charges on properties and assists in some areas of negligence.

Zoe joined Ashfords in 2018 following completion of her law degree at Plymouth University, in which she obtained a first class degree. Throughout studying Zoe worked part time in retail for a number of years, therefore her customer skills are exceptional. Zoe is currently undertaking the LPC and will be starting her training contract in 2021 with Ashfords.

  • Local Authority: Assisting with defending claims for housing disrepair and statutory nuisance under the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
