Professional Support Lawyer
Sebastian is a Professional Support Lawyer in Ashfords’ construction and infrastructure team. Sebastian, formerly of Atkin Chambers, one of the UK’s leading construction sets, is a practising barrister specialising in construction, engineering and infrastructure.
Sebastian supports the Construction team with know-how, legal updates, precedent documents and training, ensuring our lawyers are up to date with the sometimes rapidly changing legal landscape. Sebastian also delivers external training to clients and is particularly involved in training on the Building Safety Act and related legislation.
Sebastian has a wealth of experience in the construction industry with over 25 years' experience in advising on complex construction matters. Sebastian is described in The Legal 500 as “an intelligent and considered thinker” who is “very user-friendly and pro-active. Hard-working, sensible, common sense but with good and bright ideas – also sticks to his guns in all respects.” Sebastian has acted on numerous reported cases.
Before practising as a barrister, Sebastian was a solicitor specialising in construction law.
