National law firm Ashfords LLP has increased its top tier rankings in this year's Legal 500 to nine, including: Contentious Trusts and Probate; Corporate and Commercial (Dorset, Devon and Cornwall); Employment (Dorset, Devon and Cornwall); IT and Telecoms; Insolvency and Corporate Recovery; Intellectual Property; Shipping; Social Housing and Sport.
Alongside the nine top tier ranking, the firm has also achieved 34 rankings in a range of practice areas. The Agriculture and Estates, EU and Competition, Media and Entertainment teams have moved up to tier 2 from tier 3 last year and our Corporate and Commercial (Dorset, Devon and Cornwall) and Intellectual Property teams have moved up to tier 1 from tier 2 last year. Ashfords' London-based team has continued to strengthen its position with seven rankings in their practice areas, including new entries for Construction (Non-contentious) and Corporate Restructuring & Insolvency (Firms to watch).
Two of Ashfords’ Partners, Andy Braithwaite (Intellectual Property) and David Pomeroy (Insolvency & Corporate Recovery), were included in the Legal 500 Hall of Fame which highlights individuals who have received praise over the past decade for continued excellence.
