Ashfords has advised Equistone-backed BUKO Traffic & Safety, a leading provider of outsourced traffic and safety management solutions headquartered in the Netherlands, on its latest UK transaction, the acquisition of Keltic Traffic Management.
Keltic Traffic Management is a leading provider of traffic management. Headquartered in London, Keltic has a strong reputation for efficiency and reliability.
The acquisition broadens BUKO’s operational capacity and strengthens its foothold across high-demand areas of Greater London at a time when infrastructure investment across the UK continues to accelerate.
Ashfords was first introduced to BUKO in 2024 to support the group with its UK growth strategy, working closely with management and Equistone to deliver a commercial approach to acquisitions and post-completion integration. This transaction marks the second acquisition for BUKO Traffic & Safety Ashfords has supported with and fourth transaction where Ashfords has worked with an Equistone portfolio company.
Ashfords’ corporate, commercial, employment, real estate and tax teams collaborated on this acquisition, which was led by Jocelyn Ormond (corporate partner) and Laura Guest (corporate senior associate). The team also had support from Ellie Menezes (corporate), John Pindard (tax), Su Apps, Hayley Marles (employment), Ben Tarrant, Jessica Hedges (real estate), Ian Manners (regulatory), Andrew Roberts (commercial) and Lara Jenkins (construction).
