Andrew Roberts

Biography

Andrew is a fourth seat Trainee Solicitor in the Commercial team, assisting on commercial legal matters spanning a range of sectors including Energy and Infrastructure, IT and Tech, and Intellectual Property.

Andrew joined Ashfords in September 2022 and completed the first seat of his training contract within the Commercial Real Estate Team. During this time, Andrew assisted the team with advising clients regarding all stages of commercial freehold and leasehold property transactions including the granting and taking of leases, property acquisitions and property sales.

Whilst in his second seat, Banking and Finance, Andrew worked on a number of banking and finance transactions, including general financing, corporate and acquisition finance and real estate finance matters.

Transitioning to his third seat, Construction and Infrastructure, Andrew assisted on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters including the delivery of commercial and residential developments as well as energy projects and energy from waste initiatives. 

Prior to joining Ashfords, Andrew worked in variety of senior management roles across private, public and charity sectors and completed his LPC LLM in Law and Business at the University of Law in Moorgate, London.
