Ashfords advises pet food digital platform AlphaPet Ventures on acquisition of premium dog treat brand

Ashfords' corporate team has successfully advised AlphaPet Ventures, a leading digital platform which builds and distributes premium pet food brands across Europe, on the acquisition of JR Pet Products Ltd, a UK premium pet treat brand which sells natural dog treats and chews.

This acquisition represents a significant milestone in AlphaPet's growth in the UK, further expanding its portfolio of premium pet food brands. It also marks AlphaPet’s fourth acquisition since 2020, supporting its journey to becoming the leading European premium pet food and treats platform.

This acquisition is Ashfords' second transaction acting for AlphaPet, having previously advised on the acquisition of Arden Grange, a UK premium dog and cat food brand.
