UK law firm Ashfords has advised the shareholders of global purpose strategy specialists Revolt Communications on the sale of the company to Anthesis (majority owned by private equity firm Carlyle).

The BCorp companies are joining forces to support clients with the technical expertise, the sustainability capability and the strategic ambition needed to drive sustainable performance at scale.

Alex Lewis, co-founder of Revolt, said: “We are delighted that our second chapter will be as part of the Anthesis family. Together, we have a unique opportunity to guide clients towards truly sustainable performance.

Andy and the Ashfords team were central to ensuring this could be the case. They provided valuable counsel throughout the process, blending real depth of expertise with a pragmatic, human approach to our needs. What’s more, they did so at breakneck speed as we looked to complete a complex transaction against an ambitious deadline.”

Corporate partner Andy Young led the Ashfords team advising Revolt’s shareholders alongside corporate associate Barney Sykes. The Ashfords team included Amelia Roe and Jon Groves (corporate), Angus Bauer (tax), Su Apps (employment), Mark Forsey (real estate), Brett Lambe (IP/IT) and Hannah Pettit (data protection).
