UK law firm Ashfords has appointed financial services regulatory partner Chris Hickey, strengthening the firm’s expertise in financial services regulation and fintech.
Chris joins from Osborne Clarke and brings significant experience in regulatory matters across the financial services sector. He works with a broad client base including investment banks, wealth managers, fintechs, payment services firms and private fund managers.
Chris advises clients on all elements of the regulatory lifecycle, including perimeter analysis, FCA authorisation applications, the drafting of compliance policies and customer Ts and Cs, regulatory change management, engagement with the FCA and advice on day-to-day compliance matters. He also has extensive experience in advising on the financial regulatory aspects of corporate transactions.
This appointment reflects Ashfords' continued investment in the fintech and wider financial services sectors.
