Ashfords LLP announces promotion in Plymouth office

Law firm, Ashfords LLP is delighted to announce the appointment of Sophie Michaelides to Associate in its Plymouth office. Sophie’s promotion bolsters the firm’s Property Disputes offering.

Sophie is a specialist in advising clients on a range of property litigation issues, including the enforceability of restrictive covenants, dealing with dilapidations disputes and the obstruction of rights of way. She also acts for commercial clients in serving break notices and 1954 Act notices, seeking declarations and obtaining vacant possession of property. In addition, Sophie has a breadth of experience in representing a wide variety of clients, including lenders, LPA Receivers and large retail and manufacturing companies.

The firm has also promoted Stephanie Gillam (Real Estate) to Senior Associate and nine other people to Associates including, Emma Clayton and Jonathan Hyde (Company Commercial), Laura Wonnacott (Employment) and Lee Ward (Construction and Infrastructure) in Exeter, and Jack Baumgardt (Business Risk and Regulation), Alex Aisthorpe (Company Commercial) and Kirsten Currer (Employment) in Bristol.

This latest round of promotions boosts the number of Senior Associates at the firm to 15 and Associates to 59.
