UK law firm Ashfords has increased its ranked lawyers in this year’s Chambers and Partners Guide, with 60 lawyers now ranked across the firm’s practice areas.

The firm achieved a new Band 1 ranking for employment, alongside its existing Band 1 rankings in sport, charities, corporate, construction, information technology and real estate litigation. The infrastructure team was also recognised with a new Band 2 ranking, contributing to 23 ranked practice areas, the majority of which sit within Bands 1 to 3.

Head of real estate, Tim Heal, was recognised as an Eminent Practitioner, while Susie Murray (agriculture and rural affairs), Carol McCormack (infrastructure) and Rory Mac Neice (sport) all retained Band 1 rankings.

Louise Workman, CEO at Ashfords, said: “This year’s rankings reflect the strength and depth of expertise across our firm, as well as the dedication of our people and the trust placed in us by our clients. We are proud to see so many teams and individuals recognised, with new rankings across a number of practice areas demonstrating the continued growth and success of the firm. We are grateful to our clients for their support and feedback, which underpins these achievements.’’
