The Cross Border M&A Conference 2018

Now in its fifth year, national law firm Ashfords LLP has once again hosted the Cross Border M&A Conference which took place on 26 and 27 February 2018, at The Millennium Hotel in Mayfair.  The Conference was organised by Ashfords' leading M&A Team in association with ADVOC, an international network of independent law firms founded by Ashfords in 1989.

The conference saw M&A experts from around the world discuss topics focusing on cultural awareness and how it can impact the deal, the valuation of businesses, cross-border structuring and managing post-closing integration. The high profile speakers included experts from The City UK, EY (London), Houlihan Lokey (Frankfurt), Apisith & Alliance (Bangkok), Seufert (Munich) and VDB Law (Luxembourg).

This year saw a record number of guests attending the conference, with over 100 delegates from across the globe including corporate clients, in-house counsel, private equity firms, venture capital finance houses, banks, law and accountancy firms. In addition to the regular attendees from Riga, Amsterdam, Milan, Budapest, Stockholm, Warsaw, Italy, USA amongst others, the conference also welcomed new jurisdictions including Nigeria and Lebanon.
