UK law firm Ashfords has been named lead sponsor of Future Space’s 10 Years of Impact celebration, marking a decade of innovation and growth at the University of the West of England’s flagship hub for science and technology businesses.
Taking place on Thursday 9 July at Future Space in Bristol, the event will bring together businesses, academics, investors and advisors to reflect on ten years of impact and explore the future of regional innovation.
Ashfords has been a long-standing supporter of Future Space, working closely with its community of ambitious businesses and scale-ups. The firm’s sponsorship of the anniversary event underscores its continued commitment to supporting high-growth companies across the South West and beyond.
The event will feature a dedicated presentation programme and an interactive networking and exhibition space. The main presentation hub will include a welcome from the University of the West of England’s Vice-Chancellor, followed by a “10 years of impact” address highlighting key achievements such as job creation, business growth, investment secured and wider economic contribution.
A forward-looking panel discussion will then explore the future of regional innovation, the evolving enterprise zone, and the next phase of growth for Future Space and its wider ecosystem.
Alongside this, the networking and expo area will showcase the breadth of the Future Space community, bringing to life its “everything a business needs under one roof” proposition through the presence of member businesses, university partners and advisers.
Chris Dyson, partner and head of technology at Ashfords, said: “Future Space has played a pivotal role in supporting the growth of innovative science and technology businesses over the past decade, and we’re proud to be part of that journey. At Ashfords, we work with ambitious, fast-growing companies every day, and we see first-hand the value of ecosystems like Future Space in helping businesses to scale, attract investment and succeed.
Sponsoring this milestone event is a natural extension of our ongoing commitment to supporting innovation across the South West, and we’re excited to help celebrate its achievements while looking ahead to what comes next.”
The event will begin at 3:00pm, with formal proceedings starting at approximately 3:30pm, followed by networking and exhibition opportunities.
