National law firm Ashfords is thrilled to announce their support for this year's Gromit Unleashed 2 trail in Bristol.
Following the enormous success of 'Shaun in the City', Ashfords will be sponsoring their very own Feathers McGraw, Gromit’s nemesis from the iconic Aardman film 'The Wrong Trousers'.
The trail will commence from Monday 2 July until Sunday 2 September 2018, and will see over 60 original sculptures of the much loved Wallace, Gromit, and Feathers McGraw descend across Bristol.
The imaginative sculptures will be auctioned at the end of the trail, and the money raised will go to Wallace & Gromit's Grand Appeal, the Bristol Children's Hospital charity, and Cots for Tots, the Special Care Baby Unit at St Michael's Hospital.
Andrew Worley, Partner at Ashfords, commented: "This year is going to be a very exciting time for Bristol with the Gromit Unleashed 2 trail coming to our vibrant city. We are proud to be supporting this fantastic initiative again through our sponsorship of the cunning, Feathers McGraw. Keep your eyes peeled for the Ashfords sculpture!"
This year's trail marks five years since Gromit Unleashed, and will build on the great success of 'Gromit Unleashed' and 'Shaun in the City', which raised over £6 million for The Grand Appeal and brought over 2.5 million people to Bristol.
Chris Dyson, Head of Ashfords' Bristol office, said: "The Grand Appeal's art trails have raised incredible funds for a great cause and have become eagerly anticipated events in Bristol. We are delighted to be continuing our support this year".
