UK law firm Ashfords has been shortlisted for Independent Law Firm of the Year at The Lawyer Awards 2026. The awards celebrate legal excellence and recognise the UK's top lawyers and firms across a wide range of sectors.

The awards recognise law firms demonstrating strong performance, clear strategy, sustained investment in people and technology, and excellent client service. Being shortlisted places Ashfords among a select group of UK firms judged to be performing strongly in their markets and building successfully for the future.

The firm’s submission highlighted three consecutive years of sustainable growth, continued investment in its people and systems, and progress towards delivering higher‑value, sector‑led work with an excellent client experience.

Over the last year, Ashfords has recorded record profit and strong financial results for 2024/25, with revenue up 11% to £61m. These results underpin the firm’s ambition to reach £100m in revenue by 2030, as set out in its recently launched five-year strategy.

Commenting on the shortlist, Louise Workman, CEO and partner at Ashfords, said: "It's fantastic to be shortlisted for this prestigious national award following a particularly strong year for the firm. This nomination is a testament to the firm's recent growth and further reinforces our position in the market".

This shortlist follows a strong year of recognition for the firm, including being named National Law Firm of the Year at the 2025 Bristol Legal Awards, eprivateclient rankings recognition, and recent shortlistings at the South West Residential Property and HealthInvestor Awards.

The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on 16 June at the JW Marriott, Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
