Ashfords appoints new Legal Director to banking & finance team

UK law firm Ashfords continues to grow its client offer with the appointment of Anna Thompson as a Legal Director in the banking & finance team.

Anna joins Ashfords from Michelmores LLP and has a wealth of experience advising borrowers and lenders on a wide range of finance transactions, including acquisition, real estate, development, energy and alternative finance.

Anna also brings with her significant expertise in restructuring and insolvency transactions, advising both insolvency practitioners and buyers on insolvent business and asset sales, distressed debt situations and accelerated mergers and acquisitions.

Recognised in Legal 500 and Chambers, Anna's recent experience includes advising a national brewing and hospitality business on the negotiation of a multi million revolving credit and CLBILS revolving credit facilities. She also recently advised an international sportswear brand on its refinancing.
