Biography

Rachel is a solicitor in the non-contentious trusts and estates team.  

Rachel assists with a variety of matters, including the preparation of wills, lasting powers of attorney and trust documentation, as well as assisting with estate administration. 

Rachel graduated from the University of Exeter in 2018 where she studied Law. She then joined the trusts and estates team at Ashfords in 2019 as a paralegal and stayed in this role for four years. She studied the LPC and LMM part time whilst working as a paralegal, and graduated in 2023 with Distinction. Rachel then commenced her training contract with Ashfords. 

For the first seat of her training contract, Rachel joined the property litigation team. She assisted the team on a variety of matters, with a focus on housing disrepair disputes. For her second seat, Rachel joined the employment team, assisting on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment and HR matters, in addition to UK immigration law matters. She then re-joined the trusts and estates team for her final seat, and accepted the position as solicitor in 2025.
