Lorna Clark

Trainee Solicitor


Lorna is a Trainee Solicitor in the Employment Team working on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters.

Lorna assists clients in both bringing and defending claims in the Employment Tribunal, County Court and High Court. Where appropriate, Lorna helps clients to resolve their dispute outside of the Tribunal or Court process, endeavouring to reach a settlement that works for the client.

Lorna advises on a range of claims including unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing and breach of contract. 

Prior to joining the Employment Team, Lorna assisted the Dispute Resolution Team working on high-value negligence claims. Lorna has also worked with the Corporate Team, assisting with all aspects of transactional work, including mergers and acquisitions and equity fundraising rounds.

Lorna studied law at the University of Bristol and spent a year studying German law in Würzburg, Germany as part of her degree.

Lorna is actively involved in Ashfords' Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. She is a member of the charity committee and organises events in the Bristol office to raise money for Ashfords' charity of the year.
