Senior Associate promotions boost Ashfords LLPs' real estate, commercial & IT teams

Ashfords LLP is delighted to announce the appointment of four of its leading lawyers to Senior Associate. The promotions are - Simon Bailey and Carli Holmes in Ashfords' Real Estate Team based in Exeter; Suzie Miles in the Technology Team in the Bristol office; and Claire Boucher in the Commercial Litigation Team in Taunton.

Commenting on the appointments, Ashfords' CEO, Garry Mackay: “Encouraging growth and development of our people continues to be a key priority for us. This year's promotions not only reinforces the quality our people but recognises their contribution to the firm."

Simon's and Carli's promotions further highlights Ashfords Real Estate team as one of the largest in the South West. Simon specialises in commercial property transactions advising institutional property investors, occupiers, financial institutions, residential developers and local authorities. Carli, a specialist in development and regeneration projects, predominantly advises in connection with the acquisition and disposal of development land.

Suzie Miles is an expert in IT and technology including software licencing, IT outsourcing, E-commerce and information security. Suzie advises on drafting and negotiating commercial/IT contracts for bespoke software development, support and maintenance.

Claire Boucher, has extensive experience in both private and commercial clients' commercial disputes, including pursuing, and defending contractual disputes, shareholder disputes and claims.
