Chambers & Partners released its renowned High Net Worth (HNW) Guide this week, and law firm Ashfords is proud to receive first band rankings for the Private Wealth Law category and have five of its professionals recognised.
The independently researched guide identifies and ranks law firms and lawyers around the world, with the HNW Guide specifically focusing on those representing wealthy individuals and families. Ashfords is thrilled to be recognised in this way for both Private Wealth and Private Wealth Disputes.
According to Chambers, one client said: “Michael Alden is succinct and to the point, and considers his clients carefully so he can deliver clear advice," says a source. Another states: "He's very personable and deals with people in a straightforward, down-to-earth manner."
Five lawyers were ranked in their respective jurisdictions, including two lawyers who received Band 1 rankings. The lawyers recognised are listed below:
- Michael Alden – Private Wealth (Band 1)
- Robert Horsey – Private Wealth Disputes (Band 1)
- Thomas Biddick – Private Wealth (Band 2)
- Kerry Morgan-Gould - Private Wealth Disputes (Band 2)
- Barny Croft - Private Wealth Disputes (Associates to watch)
These prestigious rankings highlight Ashfords' expert level of private wealth service - the firm is highly esteemed by sources for its experienced trusts and estates team and offering to high net worth individuals. The team provides wealthy individuals and family businesses with advice on estate and succession planning, as well as wills and trusts disputes.
Michael Alden, Head of Ashfords’ Trusts and Estates Team, commented: “We are delighted to be recognised with a Band 1 ranking in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide for 2019. We have a strong team in both Private Wealth and Private Wealth Disputes which is reflected within this years rankings.”
