Ashfords LLP promotes Senior Associate in Real Estate team

Law firm, Ashfords LLP is delighted to announce the promotion of Real Estate lawyer,

Stephanie Gillam, to Senior Associate in the firm’s Exeter office.

After graduating in Law at Cardiff University, Stephanie joined Ashfords as a Trainee in 2010, qualified in September 2012 and then was promoted to Associate in May 2016.

Stephanie now acts on site assembly and development projects, disposals and acquisitions. She advises on a wide variety of commercial real estate matters, particularly mixed use development schemes and energy and resources related land and development.  

Stephanie’s promotion endorses Ashfords' real estate offering as one of the largest in the South West. Ashfords’ highly respected Real Estate team provide a single source, multi-disciplinary advice and support for a range of projects or ventures.

The experienced team advises individuals, commercial and public bodies on the full range of real estate related specialisms, bringing in the right skills to help clients achieve their commercial objectives.  The team is renowned for large scale property development, urban regeneration, self-invested pension schemes and real estate investment. Clients include private individuals, large national house builders, offshore investors, planners, housing associations and local authorities.

The firm has also promoted ten other people to Associates including, Emma Clayton and Jonathan Hyde (Commercial), Laura Wonnacott (Employment) and Lee Ward (Construction and Infrastructure) in Exeter; Jack Baumgardt (Business Risk and Regulation), Alex Aisthorpe (Commercial) and Kirsten Currer (Employment) in Bristol and Sophie Michaelides (Property Litigation) in Plymouth.

This latest round of promotions boosts the number of Senior Associates at the firm to 15 and Associates to 59.
