Ashfords has been appointed to Lot 1a, Full Service Provision and Lot 2a, General Service Provision to deliver a full range of legal services to public sector bodies including local authorities, registered providers, NHS Trusts and charities throughout England & Wales.
Legal services include: administrative and public law, non-complex and financial matters, contracts, competition, corporate, public procurement, employment, litigation, real estate, planning, projects and infrastructure, energy, natural resources and climate change, social housing and property and construction.

The tender process was led by Partner and Head of Public Sector, Lucy Woods, on behalf of the Public Sector team. The Public Sector team currently advises a number of local and national government organisations and its appointment to the CCS Panel recognises its strong offering to the wider public sector. The agreement will run for four years.
The Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2021/22, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £2.8 billion - supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
