UK law firm Ashfords has advised long standing client Noble Foods Limited (Noble) on their successful acquisition of Just Egg. The business has been a market leader in the development of egg products that have become a staple on the shelves of UK shops, cafes and supermarkets.

Since its foundation as an egg trader in the more than 100 years ago, Noble has become a leading supplier of fresh food brands to major retailers, consumers and the Royal Household. Its main business continues to be the supply of fresh eggs to major retailers, and it leads the UK market in this sector. Just last month, Noble Foods was granted a Royal Warrant to confirm it as the egg supplier to King Charles III.

Noble described Just Egg as a 'natural fit' for the group and said the deal supports its 'long-term strategy to grow and diversify'.

Duncan Everett, CEO of Noble, commented: "We feel honoured to be taking forward the Just Egg legacy. The business Pankaj and his team have built is one we deeply respect, and we’re committed to preserving the quality, service and care their customers value so highly.”

Kim Hawkins, corporate partner at Ashfords, commented: "It has been a pleasure to work with the team at Noble on this acquisition, which leaves them ideally placed to see their growth gather even more pace in the coming years. Our market leading team has extensive experience in the food sector and we were delighted to bring this experience to bear here."

Our corporate team has extensive expertise supporting businesses to deliver their strategies and growth plans across a range of corporate transactions, fundraisings and investments.
