Biography
Shahanna is an Associate in the Corporate Team.
Shahanna advises on a variety of corporate matters, including corporate reorganisations and demergers, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital transactions and shareholder matters. Shahanna has advised major food and healthcare companies.
Shahanna also works with clients on a variety of company matters including shareholder agreements, board minutes, articles of association and option agreements.
Prior to joining Ashfords, Shahanna studied her LLB Law degree at the University of the West of England and LPC at The University of Law, Bristol. Shahanna trained and qualified at a national law firm before joining Ashfords in 2019.

- Care home: Providing corporate and transactional advice to a care home on the sale of its business and assets.
- Private company: Advising on company formations and providing assistance to start-up companies.
- Healthcare provider: Advising on a group company share sale, reviewing internal policies and providing ongoing corporate and commercial support.
- Investment portfolio: Advising the seller on the sale of its investment portfolio involving eight tech-enabled companies.
- Episode 1: Advising on a £2m investment round in Riskbook Limited, an independent provider of reinsurance technology.
- Join Capital: Assisting on a £10m investment round in Opteran in respect of its machine autonomy natural intelligence company. Investment led by Join Capital with additional funding from IQ Capital, Northern Gritstone and others.
- Demerger: Assisting on a reorganisation and capital reduction demerger of a company into two distinct businesses.
