Biography

Nazash is a Solicitor in the Restructuring & Insolvency team.

Nazash is three years PQE and has experience in regularly advising directors, insolvency practitioners and creditors in various aspects of insolvency and bankruptcy matters. 

Prior to joining Ashfords, Nazash was a trainee with a boutique commercial litigation practice based in Chancery Lane.

Relevant experience

  • Multiparty: Advised 10 companies who were suppliers to a food company which entered liquidation in applying for retrospective validation orders.
  • Private individual: Assisted with obtaining a worldwide freezing order against a husband and wife and advised on variation of the freezing order for an individual who was owed around £500,000 after he provided the husband investment funds which were transferred abroad.
  • Advised a creditor on an application to set aside a statutory demand filed by a debtor in response to a statutory demand issued on the basis of a personal guarantee for the sum of £25 million. 
  • Regularly makes applications for renumeration on behalf of insolvency practitioners. 
  • Advises IP’s in respect of bringing action against directors in connection with employee benefit trusts and other corporate tax avoidance schemes.
