Trainee Solicitor
Mike is a trainee solicitor in the commercial disputes team in the Exeter office. Mike assists claimants and defendants in a variety of disputes, with a particular interest for technology disputes.
Mike previously worked with the intellectual property team, in which he assisted on the Clarks v Trek dispute. He also assisted on a variety of contentious and non-contentious matters, including portfolio management and trade mark disputes. His previous seats were with the property disputes team, and the planning & infrastructure consenting team, assisting on matters including housing disrepair, landlord and tenant disputes, s106 obligations, planning appeals, and compulsory purchase.
Prior to joining Ashfords, Mike worked as a paralegal at a top five city law firm, where he assisted in contentious international construction matters whilst reading for an LLM in Intellectual Property Law.
