Biography
Mike is a solicitor in the commercial disputes team in the Exeter office. Mike assists claimants and defendants in a variety of disputes, with a particular interest for technology and intellectual property disputes.
Mike completed his training contract with the firm in September 2026. During his training, he worked with the intellectual property team, in which he assisted on the Clarks v Trek dispute. His previous seats were with the property disputes team, and the planning & infrastructure consenting team.
Prior to joining Ashfords, Mike worked as a paralegal at a top five city law firm, where he assisted in contentious international construction matters whilst reading for an LLM in Intellectual Property Law.
