Biography
Kyle is an associate in the employment team. He qualified as a solicitor in October 2019 and joined Ashfords in May 2024.
Kyle has broad experience advising employers in Employment Tribunal proceedings, including defending claims for unfair dismissal, all types of discrimination, whistleblowing and TUPE. In addition to Kyle’s contentious work, he advises clients on a variety of employment matters, including drafting employment contracts, HR policies, settlement agreements, grievance and disciplinary proceedings, and more.

- Supporting clients to navigate managing employees with long-term sickness absence, misconduct and redundancy
- Drafting employment contracts and supporting clients with a full suite of HR policies for a new staff handbook
- Negotiating commercial settlements in Employment Tribunal proceedings, including at an early stage to minimise legal costs
- Successfully defending unfair dismissal and complex discrimination claims at final hearing for various clients
- Advising employers on all types of ER/HR issues in a constructive, resolution focussed, manner
