Trusts Executive
Kathy is a Trusts Executive in the Trusts and Estates team. She specialises in the administration of trusts, estates and grant-making charities.
Kathy has particular experience of administering multi-generational family trusts holding substantial landed estates and chattels collections. She has also worked closely with the Trustees of charitable trusts, helping them with their day to day administration, the making of grants and advising them on their Charity Commission compliance requirements.
Kathy has over 20 years’ experience of working in the trusts and estates administration industry.
Prior to joining Ashfords in 2023, she was based in London, where she was a Trust Director at a well-known Family Office and, most recently, part of the Trust Company in a large award-winning City-based investment bank providing trust and estate administration, tax planning and family office services for high net worth clients.
Kathy also has experience of the offshore trust industry having spent time working for a Swiss Trust Company in Geneva.
In her spare time, Kathy serves as a Trustee of Embercombe, a charity based on the edge of Dartmoor, which promotes and teaches conservation, rewilding, nature connection, personal growth and empowerment.
Kathy is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners having qualified with distinction in 2005.
