Biography

Jade is a solicitor in the construction team. 

Jade advises on all aspects of a construction project and disputes that arise in relation to payments, delay, defects, variations and design responsibility. Her dispute resolution experience includes assisting with pre-action correspondence, adjudications, litigation and mediation.

Jade’s experience at Ashfords has also seen her spend time during her training contract in the disputed trusts and estates team, advising both charitable clients and private individuals in relation to matters arising out of contentious wills, trusts, and estates in matters such as will validity disputes, undue influence, 1975 act claims and estate administration disputes. Alongside this, Jade also spent 6 months in the real estate team and supported the team on a variety of energy transactions such as solar developments and electrical substations as well as transactions including site acquisition and development.

Prior to joining Ashfords, Jade studied Biological Sciences at the University of Exeter, where she obtained a first-class degree with honours. She then went on to achieve distinctions in both the GDL and LPC with the University of Law before beginning her training contract with Ashfords LLP in September 2023.
