Trainee Solicitor
Izzy is a trainee solicitor in the employment team.
Izzy’s previous seat was with the commercial team, where she assisted with drafting, reviewing and negotiating a range of commercial contracts. Her first seat was with the corporate team, where she assisted with mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, company reorganisations and general company law matters.
Before starting as a trainee, Izzy worked as a paralegal in the construction team at Ashfords for two years. Izzy assisted the team with a variety of matters across primarily transactional as well as some dispute work. She has experience drafting building contracts and associated construction documentation, preparing due diligence reports, drafting witness statements and instructions to counsel and preparing trial bundles.
Prior to joining Ashfords, Izzy studied History at the University of Birmingham, obtaining a first-class degree. She then went on to achieve a distinction on the LPC from the University of Law Bristol campus.
