Biography

Frank is a solicitor in the commercial team advising on commercial contracts and projects, with a focus on the energy and infrastructure sectors.

Frank drafts and negotiates a wide range of commercial contracts, with particular experience in renewable energy projects, grid connection arrangements and partnership matters.

Frank trained and qualified at Ashfords, gaining experience across Corporate, Real Estate and on client secondments. Before qualifying, he worked in the firm’s Construction & Infrastructure team and completed an LLM in Law and the SQE.

Relevant experience

  • Assisting the team advising Viridor Group on its vendor due diligence process in connection with the sale of a substantial minority stake in Viridor Group by affiliates of KKR to Equitix.
  • Advising longstanding client and renowned Michelin starred Chef, Michael Caines MBE DL, on a consultancy deal with luxury hotel brand, The Stafford Collection, for the provision of consultancy services by Michael Caines Limited.
  • Advising premium homeware and lifestyle brand, Nkuku, on a strategic Concession deal for a new retail outlet in the north of England.
  • Advising on the incorporation of a new LLP and the drafting of its LLP agreement involving a series of family trusts and to re-organise the rights of various beneficiaries of those trusts, involving the retirement of trustee members from an existing LLP that owns land with the benefit of mining leases and its associated royalty income.
  • Advising a client on a commercial agreement covering a large infrastructure cost‑sharing and usage rights relating to the reinstatement of a major piece of rail line infrastructure which services the client's location.
