Charles is a Trainee Solicitor in the Dispute Resolution Team.
Charles assists the team on a range of commercial disputes, with a particular focus on the equine sector.
Charles advises clients from pre-action to throughout the litigation process and has developed an experience in achieving settlement of disputes through Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Previously, Charles supported the Corporate team in a variety of matters, including venture capital transactions, private equity investments and mergers and acquisitions.
Prior to that, Charles worked in the Real Estate team in a number of both freehold and leasehold matters, including acting for one of the UK’s largest food franchise businesses, the UK’s largest provider of SIPP and SASS schemes, and a national restaurant group.
Before joining Ashfords, Charles studied Law with 'Study in Continental Europe' at the University of Bristol, before going on to achieve a distinction in the LPC LLM at the University of Law in Bristol. Alongside his studying, Charles spent time working at the Avon and Bristol Law Centre, advising tenants and landlords on a variety of housing issues.
