Ceris is a Trainee Solicitor in the Construction and Infrastructure Team.
Ceris supports the team with both contentious and non-contentious matters. Ceris assists the team in providing legal services to a range of clients including institutional lenders, developers, local authorities and contractors.
Ceris completed her undergraduate Law degree at Bournemouth University in 2016. Ceris completed a placement year during her third year of university where she worked at two London-based law firms. She gained varied experience with both a specialist high-street firm in their family law practice, and at an international firm in their professional indemnity and construction department.
Ceris completed her LPC with a MSc in Law and Business at the University of Law in 2019, achieving a Distinction. Prior to starting her training contract, Ceris spent two years as a Paralegal with Ashfords LLP in the Trusts and Estates Team. She supported the team on a range of legal matters concerning private individuals. Ceris also spent six weeks on secondment with a national charity client, working in their legacy administration team.
- Institutional lender: Undertaking due diligence on a wide range of standard form and bespoke professional consultants appointments and advising in respect of associated collateral warranties.
- London borough council: Drafting and advising in relation to various consultants appointments.
