Biography

Aneurin is a trainee solicitor in the commercial disputes team.

Aneurin's first seat was in trusts and estates at Ashfords. Prior to starting his training contract, Aneurin spent 18 months working as a paralegal in this team. He gained extensive experience leading and assisting with simple and complex estate administration matters and drafting wills and lasting powers of attorney.

Aneurin studied at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, where he completed a BA in Social Anthropology and Development Studies. Following this, Aneurin completed the LLM in Legal Practice alongside his SQE 1 and 2 examinations.

Before joining Ashfords, Aneurin worked as a wealth management paralegal at a small firm in Guildford and as an intern at the Cabinet Office.

Relevant experience

  • A National Charity: Advising on and administering estates and completing required HMRC and Probate Registry documents.
  • A National Charity: Assisting with estate administration matters, in particular providing 'on the ground' support such as liaising with estate agents, arranging house clearances and attending to urgent matters.
  • Various Clients: Advising on simple and complex estate administration matters and completing required HMRC and Probate Registry documents.
  • Various Clients: Assisting with the drafting of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Declarations of Trust and Deeds of Variation.
  • Various Clients: Assisting with administering estates where the deceased is non-UK domiciled.
