Biography

Andrew is a corporate partner, head of the commercial services division and has been a member of the firm’s management board for over 15 years.

With over 25 years of expertise, Andrew has earned national recognition for his work in venture capital and growth businesses. Andrew works with a variety of businesses supporting their long term growth strategy and also has significant experience in advising clients on Employee Ownership Trusts.

Andrew is known for combining technical excellence with a pragmatic, “get things done” approach.  

Andrew has been ranked as a leading individual by Legal 500 for several years, reflecting his exceptional contribution to the legal sector and his ability to deliver results for clients in high-value transactions.

Relevant experience

  • Learnd SE, a provider of building management system solutions: advising on multiple acquisitions and corporate matters, including UK elements of its flotation on the German stock exchange and the subsequent acquisition by its management team of a majority stake.
  • Moniepoint, the Nigerian fintech giant: advising on multiple UK transactions
  • The Bott Group, a German based global leader in commercial vehicle solutions: advising on UK matters including the acquisition of Van Guard Accessories
  • Equipsme, an insure-tech business: advising on multiple investment rounds and strategic matters 
  • Centrax, an international gas turbine manufacturer: advising on various transactional matters and long term strategic plans 
  • Ombu Group Limited, a Jersey based investment group: advising on multiple investments and it subsequent exit to Hambro Perks
  • Quantive (formerly GTMhub): advising on their flip from Bulgaria to UK, then on successive investment rounds and subsequent flip from UK to US and ongoing transactional matters including multiple UK acquisitions includnig the acquisition of Greendeck Technologies Limited
  • NW RE Limited, a specialist re-insurance firm: advising shareholders on the sale to Specialist Risk Group
  • Advising numerous businesses on the sale to an Employee Ownership Trust (“EOT”) including, TFT, Hollis Global, Retrac, Elite Tins, The HR Dept. and others
