Biography

Amelia is a Chartered Legal Executive within the Court of Protection and Vulnerable Persons team, specialising in supporting clients and their loved ones with issues surrounding the loss of mental capacity. 

She advises on applications to the Court of Protection, including the appointment of Deputies, and also deals with the administration of our professional Attorneyship and Deputyship appointments.

Amelia joined the firm in 2013 and during this time has worked within our Trust Administration and Residential Conveyancing teams and dealt with the preparation of Declarations of Trust in relation to jointly owned property.

Amelia completed her law degree with the Open University.

  • Various private clients: The preparation and submission of complex Deputyship Applications to the Court of Protection to include the request to sell property.
  • Various private clients: Assisting with the ongoing administration of Deputyships and Attorneyships.
  • Various private clients: Dealing with the compliance of Trusts in relation to LEI and HMRC requirements.
  • Various private clients: Assisting with the preparation of Applications to the Court of Protection in relation to financial matters for Attorneys and Deputies.
  • Various private clients: Dealing with the preparation and execution of Declaration of Trusts in connection with joint ownership property purchases.
