Biography
Amanda is an associate in the employment team, specialising in contentious and non-contentious work.
Prior to joining Ashfords, Amanda worked with both private and public sector clients. Amanda has particular experience running complex Employment Tribunal claims on behalf of employers, day to day advisory matters and advising on TUPE (service provision changes).
Amanda trained and qualified at a national law firm before joining Ashfords. She also completed a secondment for a large telecoms company in various capacities for approximately one year.
Relevant experience
Advising a financial institution regarding allegations of sexual harassment.
Advising a large telecoms company on TUPE in respect of a public sector bid.
Delivering training to various clients including conducting disciplinaries.
Defending a public sector body in relation to a complex whistleblowing claim in which the Claimant was unsuccessful.
