The digital transformation of the NHS through this crisis is one of the more critical ways in which a more resilient healthcare system will emerge from the Covid-19 pandemic. Digital health entrepreneurs, many with clinical backgrounds, are to be applauded for the energy, imagination and commitment they are bringing to crack some notoriously tough challenges and support our wonderful front-line carers and support staff. This FT article provides more insight than most on what NHS digital solutions look like from the digital health entrepreneur's perspective. 

It would be valuable to hear more from these founders and their investors on the structural, legal, regulatory and other challenges, beyond the need for more funding, that are still impeding their work. Most will welcome the proposed delay in the implementation of the EU Medical Device Regulation for another year. What else needs urgently reviewing?
