Bankruptcy restrictions extended for nine years for ex-solicitor

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) petitioned for the solicitor's bankruptcy following his failure to pay the SRA's costs in the sum of £150,000 to cover the investigation and prosecution.

Restrictions are usually lifted after a year however these restrictions have been extended for nine years due to the nature and seriousness of the debtor's actions.
