Tanya is a legal director in our real estate team, specialising in residential development and affordable housing.
Tanya deals with all aspects of acquisitions and development projects for registered providers and private SME developers with a particular focus on s106 acquisitions, affordable land and build transactions, and associated intra-company arrangements.
Tanya worked within the development team at a national law firm for over 10 years before joining Ashfords.
Tanya is known for being approachable, commercial and finding practical solutions.
Relevant experience
- Advising and leading on the conditional acquisition of 250 units for £45m on behalf of a large registered provider.
- Acting for a registered provider acquiring a whole site conditional on securing planning permission for a 55 unit affordable housing scheme.
- Leading on a £2.5m refinance deal relating to the development of a block of flats in Bristol City centre.
- Advising on the lease and construction of the Energy Centre in Castle Park.
