Biography

Stephanie is a Senior Associate (FCILEx) in the Real Estate Team.

Stephanie advises commercial developers, retailers, the public sector, property investment companies and financial institutions on a wide range of real estate matters including acquisitions and disposals, real estate finance and asset management, specialising in lettings and landlord and tenant advice.

Prior to studying law, Stephanie worked as a senior sales negotiator for a national estate agency chain.

Relevant experience

  • Retailers: acting for several household name brands and retailers in connection with their leasehold disposals and acquisitions and asset management across London and the South West.
  • Property Investment Companies: dealing with freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals and ongoing property portfolio management.
  • Commercial Investors: dealing with the acquisition of commercial property and subsequent estate management across England and Wales including drafting and negotiating leases, agreements for lease, licences to assign, licences to underlet and licences to alter.
  • National Housebuilders: dealing with new leases, agreements for lease and supplemental licences of retail units on residential development sites.
  • Local Authorities: dealing with leasehold and freehold disposals and ongoing property management, including assisting on a number of acquisitions and subsequent estate management of high value investment and regeneration properties.
  • National and Regional Serviced Office Businesses: assisting with the acquisition of leasehold and freehold premises across London and the South West and subsequent property management.
  • Pension Funds: advising pension funds (specifically Self Invested Personal Pension Schemes (SIPPS)) in all aspects of property acquisition, management and disposal.
  • Medical Bodies: advising health trusts and clinical commissioning groups on the grant of new licences for use as COVID-19 vaccination centres.
  • Statutory Water Undertakers: dealing with the negotiation of leases, licences and easements and freehold disposals (including standard form operational reservations for equipment and retained operational land) for various sites and premises in the South East.
