Biography

James is a Partner in the Employment team.

His experience centres on working with company directors and HR professionals on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law, however he has particular expertise in supporting clients in the retail, manufacturing, and charity sectors with complex employee relations matters, discrimination, transfers of undertakings, redundancy/restructuring/harmonisation programmes, National Minimum Wages issues, and retention and exiting of senior staff.

James regularly delivers tailored training to a wide range of organisations on employment law related topics and has extensive advocacy experience representing his clients in Employment Tribunal claims throughout the UK.

Clients particularly value James’ prompt, pragmatic, and actionable support in providing clear advice and guidance as opposed to merely commentating on available options.
