Trainee Solicitor

Biography

Elizabeth is a trainee solicitor in the employment department. 

This is Elizabeth’s third training seat, having previously spent 6 months in both the commercial and intellectual property department and the construction department.

In the commercial and intellectual property department, Elizabeth assisted with UK and International trade mark filings, prosecutions, portfolio management and oppositions as well as with a variety of intellectual property disputes. 
 
In the construction department, Elizabeth assisted primarily on dispute avoidance and resolution relating to a variety of construction projects. 

Prior to starting her training contract, Elizabeth spent 2 years working as a paralegal in the real estate department working on commercial and residential development and landlord and tenant matters.

Before joining Ashfords, Elizabeth studied Spanish and International Relations at the University of Exeter, obtaining a first-class degree. She then went onto achieve a commendation in the GDL from the University of Law before beginning her training contract in 2024.
