Biography

Amy is a Trainee Solicitor in the Employment team. Amy joined Ashfords in February 2022 as a Paralegal in the Employment team, where she also spent the first six months of her training contract. Amy has now returned to the Employment team for her third seat.

Amy assists the team in representing clients in the Employment Tribunal. Amy has experience in representing and defending clients in relation to claims for unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, breach of contract, trade union detriment, and restrictive covenant disputes. Amy is also experienced in preparing and advising clients on employment-related documents such as COT3 agreements, staff handbooks and employment contracts.

In her second seat as a Trainee, Amy spent six months in the Corporate team assisting with M&A transactions, company reorganisations and investment rounds.

Prior to joining Ashfords, Amy worked for an international law firm running her own fixed-fee caseload of professional negligence matters. Amy also worked for a national law firm in the employers’ and public liability team dealing with complex multi-track claims.

Amy graduated from the University of Exeter in 2019 having studied Law and graduated from BPP University with a Masters of Law in 2021.
