Melissa is a Trainee Solicitor in the Public Sector Team.
Melissa has worked on a variety of matters for both private and public sector clients. She has assisted the Public Sector Team with a wide range of matters and her work has included drafting State aid reports, tender documents and procurement documentation.
Prior to joining Ashfords, Melissa worked as a Paralegal in a Devon based firm working within the Commercial Property department.
- Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea: Assisting in the drafting of procurement documentation for a £30 million regeneration project for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Our involvement includes providing advice on the procurement strategy, planning matters, governance and vires as well as working with technical advisers CBRE.
Wandsworth Borough Council: Assisting in providing advice to the council in relation to all of its contract and procurement matters, including in relation to bespoke funding agreements, procurement, contract extensions, termination of contracts, grant advice and service contracts across the spectrum of health and social care, housing, education and business services.
