Louise is an Associate in the Dispute Resolution Team. Louise advises clients in respect of a variety of commercial disputes.
She has significant experience advising in contractual disputes and negligence actions. Her practice also encompasses judicial review and Louise has advised in a complex challenge to public policy and related satellite disputes. Louise has acted in a variety of disputes with a foreign element and has taken steps to enforce judgments in a variety of jurisdictions. Louise also has experience defending professionals, in particular accountants, and trustees, with regard to allegations of negligence and civil fraud. Additionally Louise has extensive experience of defending utilities in regulatory prosecutions, in particular those brought under the New Roads and Street Works Act.
Louise advises governmental departments, top 100 listed companies, and a variety of foreign clients and has strong experience in the waste and water sectors. Louise has experience of working with in-house lawyers and has enjoyed a secondment to a publically listed company. Louise has significant trial experience, in addition to mediation experience.
