Trainee Solicitor


Ross is a Trainee Solicitor in the Property Litigation Team.

Ross is in his first seat and assists the team in dealing with a wide range of property litigation matters including lease renewals, dilapidations claims, party wall matters and rights to light disputes.

Ross previously worked as a Paralegal in the Commercial Property team. Ross gained experience in handling a variety of real estate transactions including leasehold matters, investment and management work, financing transactions and acquisitions and disposals.

Ross studied the LLB at Exeter University, graduating with a 2:1. Ross completed the LPC at BPP, earning a distinction.

Relevant experience

  • Landlord: Advising on the implications of the tenants' right of first refusal in respect of the sale of a circa 100 property residential portfolio.
  • Tenant: Assisting with advising a tenant in a contentious lease renewal opposed by the landlord on ground (f).
  • Landlord: Assisting with enforcement action taken against a commercial tenant for unpaid rent.
  • Management Company: Assisting with steps taken against a national housing association in respect of alleged breaches of covenant.
