Biography

Chloe is a Paralegal in the Property Litigation Team.

Since joining the team Chloe has assisted in dealing with a variety of property litigation work with a significant proportion being high profile, complex High Court litigation.

Chloe joined Ashfords in 2015 following the completion of a Law degree at Plymouth University.

Relevant experience

  • Private client: Assisting in acting for a private client in a high value undue influence claim involving a claim to set aside a number of property transactions.
  • Private client: Assisting in acting for a Devon farmer in relation to a professional negligence claim against a firm of solicitors who had failed to advise in relation to the transfer to his wife of half of his farm that had been in his family for a number of generations.
  • Private client: Assisting in acting for a private client in relation to a professional negligence claim against a firm of solicitors in respect of VAT liabilities that became payable following the sale of a commercial premises.
  • Private client: Assisting in acting for a private client in relation to defending a claim under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996.
  • Local authority: Assisting in acting for a local authority in successfully pursuing long leaseholders who were in Breach of their lease and trespassing by converting the loft space without any consent.
